Pars Tailor

Carrer de Sepúlveda, 146, 08011 Barcelona

Pars Tailor, Barcelona, is a themed hostel and if the name didn’t give it away, it’s an old tailors theme with cute accessories and furniture everywhere. There is also Pars Teatro, located near Parallel area on Carrer d'Albareda, 12, Sants-Montjuïc, 08004 Barcelona, Spain, and no surprise, the theme is that of a theatre.

Pars Tailor is a central location close to the bus route to the airport and metro stops close by, along with a trusty Aldi if you need snacks or food.

Details and dorms

On entering Pars Tailor there is a reception area with a desk where you’ll be greeted by the lovely staff, all helpful and friendly. If you arrive early you can leave your luggage in the storage room or relax in the dining room and kitchen area, which is a large space, filled with comfy sofas and tables to eat your food at.

Once upstairs you’ll see more of the quirky themed tailor decor which line the walls, such as corsets, sewing patterns, buttons and so much more.

Price range - Like many hostel stays the prices can fluctuate greatly dependent on the season and whats on in the city at the time of booking etc…

When I have stayed here I’ve been fortunate to get a good deal paying around 22euros a night but I have seen the prices for a dorm room exceed 70euros +

The rooms - A mix of female only and mixed dorms, spacious with lockers underneath the beads.

The bathrooms - Clean and spacious too.

Outside space - one of the best features of the hostel is the gorgeous terrace which is large and spacious, perfect when the weather is sunny.

Age limit - No one over 45 years, which is shame, as I’m all about a diverse mix of ages who travel and use hostels.

Single night bookings There is a charge of 3 euros for sheets

Breakfast An additional 4 euros extra

Overall this is a great place to stay, super central and close to lots of amenities

Atmosphere and amenities

Atmosphere - When I stayed here the vibe was positive, chilled out and not too hectic with some social events happening such as dinners in the kitchen and games nights. It was a friendly, sociable and enjoyable atmosphere, although I didn’t spend too much time hanging out there.

Amenities - Kitchen, large outdoor terrace, laundry space, dining/chill out area and bathrooms.
